Upon graduating, Samuel became a piano teacher who engages in private tutoring as well as teaches at a music school. His aim is to share the knowledge and experience he gained in his years of formal training with students and other musicians. He also hopes to guide others in finding and developing their passion in music. After years of teaching students of all ages, he firmly believes that no one is ever too young or old to learn music - anyone can learn music.

Since young, Samuel began arranging, composing and improvising and has been arranging music for his local church choirs and ensemble group for over a decade. He has also arranged for solo instrumentalists and for church weddings. Samuel improvises on the piano regularly and sees it as a means of creative output.

Samuel is also a self-taught organist and serves as a church pianist and organist in his church. He is also the resident accompanist for his church's choir. He is a member of Calvary Jurong Bible-Presbyterian Church, Singapore.

Samuel was also a tubist in his Secondary school's military band and a Classical guitarist in his College's guitar ensemble. Though classically trained, Samuel also branches out to other genres such as Pop, Jazz, and contemporary music.

Having been blessed with this gift of music, his main aim is to be a channel of blessing to others through the music he plays.
